Hello. My name is Amber. I about a couple years old and I'm a beagle/Australian shepherd mix. My foster mom found me one day while she was driving home. She drove by an elementary school, and a police officer was sitting there with me. He had stopped because he saw me tied to the sign in the parking lot of the school. He stopped to make sure I was ok, and realized I had been there for awhile. My foster mom stopped to check what my story was and noticed how hungry and thirsty I was. She gave me some food and water and they tried to figure out who had left me there. The police officer said he would just call animal control to come get me, but my foster mom said no way, no how. She put me right in her car and took me to her house. I had been alone for so long that I forgot what it was like to have brothers and sisters. But man do I have a lot of brothers and sisters now! A lot of them drive me CRAZY!!!, but there is one that I really like. He is very calm and always nice to me, so we are great friends. Also, my foster mom has these horrible creatures she calls "cats". They are always standing at my kennel and TORMENTING me. My foster mom tells me I have to be nice to them, but I really don't like them at all. So it would probably be best if you didn't have one of those tormentors at your house. You see my foster mom says that because I am SO beautiful, some nice family will adopt me soon to love me forever. That sounds really great because before I came here I was so alone.
